shit's been crazy the past few months. we've been touring overseas for a while, which was alotta fun considerin i'd never been outta the country before. we came back in time to release "beg for mercy." thanks to y'all who bought it and to the radio and tv stations who have supported us.

since we released it more people have noticed me and buck. it's gone from 50 cent and g-unit to just g-unit. and now me and buck are makin names for ourselves outside the underground. i gotta admit, it feels good to turn on the radio and have your song come on. it's kinda annoyin to have people bother you while you're out, but i'm grateful for every fan we got.

thanksgiving dinner was good, i spent it wit curt and buck. shaniqua let curt have marquise for a while. that's the least she could do, i guess. we spent some time wit tony's family, his moms really liked that. we all miss him alot. he's up in front of the parole board sometime next year. it seems far away, but if this next year goes as fast as this last year has, it'll be in no time.

we start tourin again on the 5th. we got to melbourne, then sydney, then brisbane two nights in a row, then auckland. then we gotta fly all the way to japan for two shows in tokyo. but then we're done from the 13th on until new years, hopefully. i'm wore out from all the travelin.

alright, it's gettin late and i got shit to do in the morning.

here's a little background for everyone who doesn't know me/know about me (which is probly most of my friend list)...

i was born christopher lloyd, but when i started rappin i took on the name lloyd banks. most everyone calls me banks, lloyd, or l. but my family still calls me chris, though.

i grew up in the south side of jamaica, queens (new york city). i was born, raised, and my moms still lives there. that's my home. my teenage years weren't that great. i was kicked outta 3 different high schools in queens, cause of discipline problems an shit.

i'm only 20 (turnin 21 this year), but i started rappin when i was 12 years old. i met up with curt (50cent) and marv (tony yayo) in 1999 an we started freestylin together. we decided to form a group, which is what G-Unit is.

i never hustled for money, an i don't do any 'hard' drugs. i don't even really drink that much. i have been in some confrontations wit people... an i was shot twice in sept. 2001. but i'm all good now, healed up, through rehab, all that.

aside from just puttin out a mix-tape, i have a full length cd comin out soon, too.

my best friends right now are curt, yayo an buck... wit yayo in jail, we don't get to see each other, but we're on the phone every chance we get.
